FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS 5°
LUNAR ECLIPSE

May 25th, 2013, 9:25 PM, PDT

by Marcelina

Happy Full Moon in Sagittarius Everyone!

There’s a Lunar Eclipse on this Full Moon in Sagittarius. The archer has its bow and arrow aiming to the heavens to find Truth. Sagittarius’ key phrase says, “I Seek”. Communication will be vast and expansive, local news and from foreign countries are of major importance. We can also expect many thought-provoking discussions related to religious beliefs and the “spiritual laws”.

This opposition of Gemini Sun and Sagittarius Moon creates a challenging aspect (square) to nebulous Neptune (Pisces), making all forms of communication unreliable, vague, and confusing. Gemini’s traditional ruler, Mercury, also depicted as a trickster in classical astrology, plays an important role. Both Mercury and Venus will join happy-go-lucky Jupiter, expanding our awareness of “what we perceive to be Truth and Beauty.”

Buried and repressed emotions may now rise to the surface for us to look at, eye to eye. Truth must come out as it appears that there have been deceptions and manipulation of the facts in the areas that constitutes the laws related to “freedom of speech and the practice of religion or chosen spiritual devotion. Consciousness expansion, mind games, the abundance of information will overload our psyche and our lives for weeks. Although it is wise to be selective with our use of words, the time has come to call a spade for what it is, a Spade.

The old belief has it that a Lunar Eclipse will impact the matriarchy, the lives of notable women in the current era. We may also witness righteousness and judgmental attitudes displayed toward others’ belief system and/or political views. When one says “your belief worships a false god” do we believe their statement to be true, or do we defend our beliefs because we have largely invested (Sagittarius Moon) our emotions into it?

On Sabian Symbol: An Astrological Mandala by Dane Rudhyar

5 degrees Gemini Sun indicates “A revolutionary magazine asking for action; the explosive tendency of repressed feelings and root emotions.”

5 degrees Sagittarius Moon indicates “An owl sits alone on the branch on a large tree; a poised and wise approach to existence based on a clear perception of unconscious factors and their operation.”

My thoughts…

Sitting, watching, and observing, the human consciousness has awakened to what has been kept in the dark for so long. An innovative force, a messenger, now demands action for resolution.

Have a Blessed Full Moon in Sagittarius!

   And Keep sharing the Light!

STAR HIGHLIGHT ~ SATURN

According to the traditionalist, Saturn is the planet of Infortune or the Greater Malefic. I prefer to describe this unwavering planet as a taskmaster, The Tester, the Lord of Karma. It rules our ability to stick to the old traditions, responsibilities, rules and regulations that we are to follow. Boundaries and limitations are among the lessons to learn. Saturn governs the principles of truth; its goal is perfection through the process of testing. “Man learns the purpose of life is not pleasure, but to gain experience, patience, humility, wisdom and compassion” –Isabel Hickey, Astrology, The Cosmic Science.

Also called the Father of Time, he represents maturity, the old age and the aging. This ringed planet demands the acceptance of material values and the necessity to acquire them as temporal test of the human spirit- thus the name Saturn was mislabeled as Satan, by some religious faiths.

Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius. It represents an individual who is severe, reserved, solitary and patient, someone who will acquire the goods of the world by slow and steady stages. It relates to those who work with the earth, farmers and miners, also monks, solitary religious people and beggars.

If Saturn is badly placed (by house and sign) in a person’s natal chart, it indicates someone envious, mistrustful, never content, timid and the men are said to condemn women. Someone ruled by Saturn is apt to have a body of medium height and dark eyes. Anatomy ruled by Saturn includes the skeletal system, bones and teeth, skin, ligaments, knees, auditory organs, and gall bladder.

Saturn influences all hard dark stones and lead. It represents places such as the ruins, obscure valleys, graves, and churchyards.

Since October 2009, Saturn has been transiting through the sign of Libra, and will stay in that same sign until the first week of October 2012. A relationship and relatedness (or the lack of it), may have been a priority to resolve for the many of us during this time. Good judgment, diplomacy and tact are tools we can utilize.

Saturn Blessings
